Steal A Verity Treadmill, Base, Index & Fuse

The systems that stack with Trails to raise Speed and Cash.

Treadmill and Base

Trails get the spotlight, but Steal A Verity accounts actually grow through four quieter systems: the treadmill, base slot upgrades, the Index, and the Fuse Machine. This October 2026 guide explains how they work together with pets and steals so you do not stall after buying Gray or Green—and clarifies the optional Would You Rather treadmill minigame plus region-scaled Index rewards.

The power stack

SystemWhat it gives
TreadmillIncremental Speed training at your plot
Base slotsMore pets generating Cash at once
IndexSpeed and Cash bonuses from discoveries (scale by region)
Fuse MachineUpgrades for duplicate pets
TrailsLarge Speed multipliers from the blue shop (Cash or Robux)

Skip slots and your Cash/sec caps. Skip treadmill/Index and gates feel harsher than your Trail rank suggests. Skip Fuse and duplicates waste potential. Read Trails beside this page, not instead of it. For a deeper Index/Fuse walkthrough, open Fuse and Index.

Treadmill Speed training

The treadmill is your on-plot Speed gym. Between steals—or when a seven-player lobby is too contested—train here to push incremental Speed. Practical habits:

  1. Short treadmill blocks after banking pets
  2. Longer blocks when saving for a big Trail without productive boxes nearby
  3. Recheck a previously failed gate after a treadmill session
  4. Do not treadmill forever while ignoring steals; boxes still feed pets

Treadmill progress stacks with Trail multipliers. A player on Red Trail who never trains will underperform a disciplined Red player who does. Movement skill still matters—see Controls.

Optional “Would You Rather” minigame

Some treadmill sessions surface a Would You Rather style prompt. Treat it as flavor and pacing—not a hidden power spike. Community guides (including Sportskeeda-style writeups) note that the minigame does not grant meaningful gameplay benefits beyond the normal treadmill loop. Do not stall your account waiting for a “correct” answer; keep training Speed and return to steals.

Base slot upgrades

Each slot holds a pet that generates Cash. Upgrading capacity is how early fillers become a real engine. Priorities:

  • Expand when every slot is full and steals are succeeding
  • Expand before a rare-hunt night so lucky opens are not wasted (Secret Verity, Winged Verity)
  • Balance slot Cash sinks with Trail Cash sinks—do not bankrupt into Galaxy with two pets parked

Empty slots after a successful steal streak are a silent failure state. Open boxes immediately (How to Steal).

Index unlocks (region-scaled)

Discovering pets fills the Index and grants Speed and Cash bonuses. Importantly, Index rewards scale by region—higher or differently gated map areas can yield stronger discovery payouts than early zones. That makes “bad” community C-tier pets strategically good for completion, and it rewards players who push Speed gates instead of only AFK farming the starter area.

Collection mindset lives on the Players hub; ranking flex pets lives on the Pets tier list.

Index tips:

  • Note new faces after each open
  • Do not fuse away a first copy before discovery registers
  • Prefer discovering pets from the highest region you can safely clear
  • Treat Index as permanent account power—especially meaningful because there is no Rebirth (Updates Hub, October 2026)

Fuse Machine upgrades

Duplicates enter the Fuse Machine to upgrade into higher Cash pets. Good Fuse play increases the value of the pets that stay on your base. Guidelines:

  • Fuse true extras, not your only Index copy
  • Prefer upgrading pets you will keep slotted
  • Use Fuse when slots are tight and Cash/sec needs a bump
  • Revisit Fuse priorities after patches that retune pets

Automation tools sometimes spam Fuse without context; understand the machine yourself before trusting scripts (Scripts Hub).

Watching the mid-article gameplay

The embedded SUNFES gameplay clip is a movement and loop reference—steal pacing, base returns, and map energy—not a promise that treadmill clicks alone print Galaxy Trails. Pair the video with real Index/Fuse discipline on this page.

Example spend order mixing systems

Early account inspired by Getting Started:

  1. Steal and slot any pets
  2. Buy Gray Trail (1k Cash / 6R / 1.5x)
  3. Treadmill briefly; steal more (skip obsessing over Would You Rather)
  4. Buy a slot upgrade if full
  5. Buy Green Trail (25k / 20R / 2x)
  6. Keep Index discoveries flowing—push a higher region when Speed allows
  7. Fuse obvious duplicates after Index credit
  8. Save toward Blue (500k / 35R / 2.5x) while mixing treadmill blocks

Mid account:

  1. Maintain Red/Purple Trail targets from the Trails tier list
  2. Never let slots cap during hot lobbies
  3. Use region-aware Index bonuses to smooth Speed gates
  4. Fuse into a tighter high-Cash lineup
  5. Only then push Gold+ Trails
  6. Practice Monster Verity escapes before rare nights (Monster Verity)

Session template

  1. Treadmill (short)—ignore minigame FOMO
  2. Steal loop (2–5 boxes based on contest)
  3. Open → Index check (prefer higher-region discoveries) → Fuse decisions
  4. Buy slot or next Trail fragment (Cash or planned Robux)
  5. Repeat until the next gate opens

This template scales from Gray to Galaxy without requiring spreadsheets.

Mistakes to avoid

  • All-in Trails with neglected slots
  • AFK treadmill only, zero steals
  • Treating Would You Rather as a mandatory power system
  • Fusing before Index credit
  • Farming only low regions forever while Index rewards scale elsewhere
  • Waiting for Rebirth that does not exist
  • Believing fake codes replace treadmill work (Codes Hub)

Train, expand, discover (by region), fuse, then buy the next Trail. That order keeps Steal A Verity progression smooth long after the tutorial minute ends.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Steal A Verity players.

What does the treadmill do in Steal A Verity?

It trains Speed incrementally at your plot. Treadmill ranks stack with Trail multipliers and Index bonuses.

Does the Would You Rather treadmill minigame help progression?

No meaningful gameplay benefit is documented. Treat it as optional flavor and keep training Speed or returning to steals.

Why upgrade base slots?

More slots mean more pets generating Cash at once, which funds Trails and recovers faster after failed steals.

What do Index unlocks give?

Index discoveries grant Speed and Cash bonuses that scale by region, so collecting many pets—and clearing higher zones—powers your account.

When should I use the Fuse Machine?

Fuse duplicate pets after Index credit is safe, prioritizing upgrades for faces you will keep generating Cash.

Should I buy Trails or slots first?

Early on, buy Gray/Green Trails quickly, then mix slot upgrades with later Trail saves so Cash/sec and Speed rise together.

Does Rebirth reset treadmill progress?

No. Steal A Verity has no Rebirth system, so treadmill, Index, Fuse, and Trail progress remain part of continuous growth.
