Getting Started in Steal A Verity
Your first hour from empty plot to stable Cash and Speed.
This Getting Started guide is the onboarding path for Steal A Verity on Roblox. The game launched 23 July 2026 as a free-to-play simulation with seven-player servers. You steal Verity boxes, open pets that generate Cash, train Speed, upgrade your base, and buy Trails for Speed multipliers. There is no Rebirth system—everything you unlock stays part of a continuous climb.
What you are trying to do
Think in a five-step loop:
- Raise enough Speed to enter a zone
- Steal a Verity box without losing it to Monster Verity
- Return to your plot and open the pet
- Let pets generate Cash while you train or upgrade
- Spend Cash on Trails, treadmill ranks, and base slots
If you only chase rares on minute one, you will die on chases and stall. If you only AFK on a single weak pet, Speed gates will lock you out of better boxes. Balance both.
Minute-by-minute first session
Claim your plot and learn the camera
Join from the official experience linked on the Links Hub. Find your plot, note the blue Trails shop across from it, and locate the treadmill and base upgrade UI. Skim Controls so WASD, Space, E, hotbar keys 1–0, and LMB feel natural before you contest boxes.
First steals on easy ground
Walk to the lowest Speed-gated area you can enter. Approach a Verity box, press E to interact, and path home immediately. Monster Verity spawns pressure after a steal—do not stand still admiring the pickup. Full chase advice lives in How to Steal.
Bank the box, open the pet, and confirm it sits in a base slot generating Cash. Congratulations: the economy is online.
Buy Gray Trail ASAP
As soon as you can afford 1,000 Cash, buy Gray Trail (1.5x Speed) from the blue shop. This is the strongest early ROI on the ladder. Next target is Green (25k / 2x). Full ladder rankings sit on the Trails tier list and in the Trails guide.
Expand capacity before ego buys
Empty slots mean opened pets have nowhere useful to go. Mix early Cash between Green Trail progress and base slot upgrades. Touch the treadmill so raw Speed rises beside Trail multipliers—details in Treadmill and Base.
Mid-guide reality check
By the time pets are ticking and Gray/Green are owned, you should understand why Speed matters: zones are gated, chases punish slow returns, and seven-player lobbies punish hesitation. Watch the embedded gameplay video on this page for pacing, then return to deliberate practice instead of only spectating.
First-hour priorities checklist
- Survive several steals and bank pets
- Own Gray Trail; push Green
- Put at least a few pets on the base generating Cash
- Know where treadmill and Fuse/Index entry points are
- Ignore fake promo lists (Codes Hub — none verified as of Oct 2026)
- Skim community pet names so you recognize Winged Verity later (Pets tier list)
Common beginner mistakes
Hoarding for a late Trail while walking at base Speed loses more time than it saves. Standing after a steal invites Monster Verity. Skipping Index discoveries leaves free Speed/Cash on the table (Players hub). Copying scripts on day one risks the account before you understand the loop (Scripts Hub).
Contesting every box in a full seven-player server is another trap. Rotate to quieter zones when fights waste your Cash cooldown.
How progression feels without Rebirth
Many simulators reset power through Rebirth. Steal A Verity does not. Your Trails, pets, Index, and base upgrades accumulate. That is why early discipline matters: bad habits scale with you. Read the design note on the Updates Hub so you do not wait for a rebirth update that is not part of the launch design.

Session template you can reuse
- Treadmill for a short Speed burst
- Steal two to four boxes depending on lobby contest
- Open pets, fuse safe duplicates, check Index
- Buy the next affordable Trail or slot upgrade
- Stop before fatigue causes greedy deaths
Repeat. That template carries you from Gray to Red and beyond without needing a complicated spreadsheet.
Final beginner advice
Speed opens maps; pets pay for Speed; Trails multiply Speed; base slots multiply how many pets pay you. Learn that sentence and the wiki’s deeper pages will click. Stay on the official experience, climb one breakpoint at a time, and treat Monster Verity as a movement puzzle—not a reason to quit after the first chase.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Steal A Verity players.
What should I buy first in Steal A Verity?
Buy Gray Trail for 1k Cash (1.5x Speed) as soon as pets generate enough Cash, then aim for Green at 25k.
Is there a tutorial Rebirth?
No. Steal A Verity has no Rebirth system. Progress through pets, Trails, treadmill, Index, Fuse, and base upgrades.
Why do I keep losing boxes after stealing?
Monster Verity chases you after steals. Move immediately toward your plot and raise Speed with Trails and treadmill training.
How many players are in a server?
Servers hold up to seven players, so contested boxes are common—rotate zones when fights waste time.
Where do I go after Getting Started?
Read Controls and How to Steal next, then Trails and Treadmill and Base for economy and Speed planning.
Are there beginner codes?
There are no verified working codes as of October 2026. Check the Codes Hub for status instead of third-party tables.
